What if I file a claim and decide not to get the work done?
You will most likely receive about 60% of what it takes to bring your car back to full value, typically paid directly to your lien holder. When you go to sell the car you will lose an average of $3,000. After claiming the hail damage, insurance companies will require proof of repair before covering a second claim. You will continue paying for full-coverage premiums, but not be able to benefit from any new claims because repairs were not done.
How much time do I have to allocate to the total repair process?
Fifteen minutes to do a claim call with one of our specialists and thirty minutes at the closest enterprise to your home or work. When repairs are done well meet you at the enterprise to deliver your vehicles.
I only see a couple dents is it really that important?
Hail damage repair is expensive. Even the repair of minor hail damage starts around $2K and goes up from there, with the average claim being around $7K. If you get into a car accident or your car totals without you first claiming and repairing the hail damage, insurance companies will deduct the hail damage amount from your payout. If you own payments towards a car loan, this could leave you owing thousands of dollars to your lien holder!
Will my premiums go up?
Damage from a hail storm or other catastrophe falls under comprehensive coverage, so it’s a non-fault claim, unlike collision damage. A hail claim will not affect your insurance premiums like collision claims. Insurance premiums will slightly raise in the zip codes of the affected areas to compensate for the thousands of claims filed whether you file a claim or not. So you will most likely see a slight increase the next time you renew your policy, not because you filed a claim directly.
How much will this really cost me?
It depends on your insurance coverage and deductible. Call today & ask us for a free evaluation and damage assessment 517-897-2021.
How long does auto hail repair take?
After your insurance company looks at the vehicle at our facility repairs usually take 3 to 7 days based on the damage. A full turn around time from start to finish of the entire process is usually less than 2 weeks.
What size of dents can be repair?
In 2010 I spent 4 weeks training with Marty Runik at Top Gun PDR training so I could advance my skills at larger damage. It was an incredible learning experience. The things I learned from him gave me the ability to repair the damage that my competitors can’t or won’t do.
All repairs are unique, call today for a FREE assessment of your damage to find out if it qualifies for Pantless Dent Repair (PDR).
Has Paintless Dent Repair (PDR) changed over the years?
Yes! Paintless Dent Repair (PDR) first appeared about 25 years ago as an innovative way to repair dents and dings on automobile production lines in Europe. Later, it became a more effective, less expensive method for removing small dings and dents from cars made with a thinner grade of sheet metal. Now, specially trained technicians utilize state-of-the-art tools to remove extensive hail damage on any vehicle.
What if had a different insurance company or changed companies since the hail storm?
Not a problem we can file with the insurance company you had when the event of loss occurred. As long as you were current on your payments at the time of the incident, that insurance company is responsible for covering your repair costs.
